MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OFFICE OF THE MINISTEROctober 18th, 2022 Dear Public School Leaders and Administrators,On Friday September 30th, 2022, the Minister of Health announced that the Public Health Emergency Order will come to a close on November 30th, 2022. As you may know, the Public Health Emergency Order lays the legal framework for COVID- 19 safety measures, such as mask-wearing and testing which have been enforced since 2020.As a result, COVID-19 pre-return testing after school breaks and COVID-19 screening testing have been discontinued and will no longer be provided for the Bermuda Public School System.As we continue to live with COVID-19, I encourage you to follow the Department of Education’s Living Safely with COVID-19 Guidelines which were provided to you last week.
