2022 Outstanding Teacher Award Finalists

Makese Gilbert, Alshia Lugo, Akinyi Apopa, Cidalia Soares-Chan, Crystal Richardson, Patreece Simons, Shani Smith, Zolita Macintosh, Donika York, and Rupert Holdipp are the finalists for the 2022 Outstanding Teacher Awards.

A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Education Network [BEN] announced that the finalists have been chosen for the 2022 Outstanding Teacher Awards sponsored by Allied World.”

Becky Ausenda, Founder of Bermuda Education Network said: “Thank you to everyone who nominated a teacher for BEN’s awards. Our committee have selected ten inspiring finalists from the many excellent nominations we received and it’s my pleasure to announce that this year’s finalists are:

• Akinyi Apopa, Sandys Secondary Middle School
• Cidalia Soares-Chan, Purvis Primary School
