Parent Education, Family Counselling and Parent Support
The aim of the Parent Support Services is two-fold:
- To provide support in a family-centered way to help you to grow confidence and skill in your parenting abilities
- To enhance your ability to interact with your child in ways that lead to positive social and emotional wellness for the entire family.
Services offered:
Parent Support – to reduce stress with healthy problem solving skills and learn the effect of ACEs in early childhood
Family Counselling – Relationship challenges, co-parenting, divorce and separation, grief, postpartum blues, and family of origin challenges. An Experiential Counselling Model is used with children.
Parent Education Workshops – Group learning with activities for skill-building to improve family life at home.
